Writer, Developer, Storylaunch Founder (also a sailor, father, farmer and husband).

I am a writer by passion, developer by necessity. I built Storylaunch after noting the lack of effective tools for independent authors. They were either too shallow, too rigid, or an aimless collection of widgets. I envisioned an app that would propel a writer’s vision to completion — capable of producing, under the writer's direction, a high-quality draft for the author to sink their teeth into, within a writer-controlled editorial flow.

With a degree in Literature and Critical Theory, studies in Creative Writing, and a career spanning professional writing to biotech software, my passion was always for books: the magic of fiction that flowed from a writer’s muse, across the page and ultimately into the reader’s heart. I realized that I was uniquely positioned to produce a new industry flagship software for novel–writers — software built for those who already think strategically about storytelling, but also for writers who want helpful guidance in narrative conception, outlining, drafting and editing.

Thus, every feature is built from a writer’s perspective, with the objective of amplifying creativity and removing barriers to completing quality novels. I am beyond excited to finally share this project with a community of serious writers. It will be my privilege to continually apply insights from that community to enhance Storylaunch as a premium writer’s experience, a tool that puts their name on novels of note, in the hands of readers worldwide.

AI Model Usage:

We use third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, xAI Grok) to help you write. Your prompts are sent to these services to generate content. We use API-only access, which means:

Your data is NOT used to train their models (per API terms)
Requests are processed and immediately discarded
We comply with all provider privacy policies

Maximum Privacy Protection:

To avoid having your content being exposed to the above-mentioned networks, consider using any model listed as "Storylaunch" (e.g. "Storylaunch Scribe") which is a custom LLM contracted or administered by Storylaunch to fully protect and assure your privacy.
